What is an Model Video Profile?

The Actor Video Profile is designed with a single core focus: to present your "most authentic self" during the audition process.

Filmed with an industry-standard cinema camera, we capture who you are and your unique visual identity through a brief self-introduction and a multi-angle video profile. 

In the subsequent photo session, we capture the subtle charms that may not translate on video, completing a truly multi-dimensional portfolio.

We strictly refrain from excessive retouching on all final deliverables, ensuring your natural essence and unique appeal shine through authentically.

The final assets you receive can be seamlessly arranged and utilized to help casting professionals grasp your distinct image at a glance.

White Backdrop

01. Self-Introduction Video

A brief self-introduction video, under one minute, featuring essential details such as your name, date of birth, physical measurements (height/weight), and special skills.

To maximize versatility, the video is produced in both landscape and portrait formats.

The final video is delivered with the Karv Studio logo by default. A clean version without the logo is available by selecting the separate 'No-Logo Option'.

02. Multi-Angle Video Profile

A video designed to intuitively showcase your diverse charms from multiple angles.

Starting with a direct frontal shot, you will smoothly move your head and body from side to side. We authentically capture the versatile moods you convey to the camera, exactly as they are.

The final video is delivered with the Karv Studio logo by default. A clean version without the logo is available by selecting the separate 'No-Logo Option'.

03. Side Profile Photo

A photograph designed to intuitively showcase your diverse charms from multiple angles.

Starting with a direct frontal shot, you will smoothly move your head and body from side to side. We authentically capture the versatile moods you convey to the camera, preserving them as still images exactly as they are.

04. Model Profile Photo

A single-concept profile photo session dedicated to capturing your most essential image.

We portray your unique aura with a clean, unadorned approach, beautifully bringing out your natural charm and inherent texture.

Guidelines & Policies

*Backdrop Options

All sessions are conducted with a white backdrop by default. If you are preparing for an intense, weighty character or wish to create a charismatic image with deep contrast, a black backdrop is available as an add-on option.

*Full-Body Shots Not Available

Due to spatial limitations within the studio, we do not offer full-body (full-shot) photography. We kindly ask for your understanding.

*JPG File Delivery

Unedited JPG files are provided exclusively for photos, completely free of charge. Please note that raw video footage cannot be provided.

Original RAW image files are available as an add-on option. These files, captured on the Sony A1M2, are delivered in either uncompressed or high-quality compressed formats.

*Additional Selection & Retouching

Additional photo selections and basic retouching for the Model Profile Photo can be requested by selecting the relevant add-on option.

*Download Period & Data Retention

To offer our packages at reasonable rates, we strictly minimize our studio's data retention period.

Accordingly, all original data and download links will be permanently deleted 2 weeks (14 days) from the delivery date of the final retouched files. Please ensure you download and safely back up your files within this timeframe.

*Social Media Uploads & Information

To present your portfolio effectively to casting directors, your assets will be uploaded to our official Instagram account (@karv.model) in the following order. The accompanying captions will include specific details:

Side Profile Photo (03) :

Name and physical measurements.

Video Profile (01 + 02) :

Brief educational background and model credits (experience). 

Model Profile Photo (04) :

Name and business email address.

-Your details will also be featured in the description box of your YouTube uploads.

-Please be aware that text modifications are not possible once the content has been published.

*Session Flow & Delivery Timeline

On the day of your shoot, we will conduct a brief consultation to define the creative direction before proceeding.

In line with our studio's aesthetic, we strictly avoid excessive retouching, and therefore, requests for additional edits cannot be accommodated. All final deliverables will be provided and uploaded within 4 weeks of the session date.

Hair & Makeup Guidelines

Hair and makeup services are not included in the standard package fee and are available as a separate add-on option. Whether to proceed with this service will be determined through a pre-shoot consultation.

Although it is not factored into the standard session duration, professional hair and makeup play a vital role in elevating the overall quality of the final result.

Working closely with our professional Hair & Makeup Director, we carefully tailor the styling direction to perfectly align with the creative intent and highlight your unique personality.

-Black Backdrop Change

Changes the backdrop for the standard session (both video and photo) to a deep, weighty black.

*Mixing backdrop colors within the standard 1-hour package is not permitted.

Example) Shooting video in black, photos in white is not possible

*Mixing backdrops is possible when adding an Option [Model 04] Add 1 actor profile photo concept

[Model 02] 'Black Backdrop Change' and [Model 04] 'Add 1 Actor Profile Photo Concept' options, mixing backdrop colors is permitted only for the added concept.

Your booking is finalized once payment is confirmed, and dates are secured on a first-come, first-served basis upon completion of the booking.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

*Please carefully select your date and time prior to booking*

To ensure smooth operations and prevent scheduling conflicts with other clients, please select your date and time carefully before completing your booking.

*Bookings are confirmed upon full prepayment via Naver Smart Store.

*One date and time reschedule is permitted after booking confirmation.

If you contact us up to 7 days prior to your session date, you may reschedule your appointment once to an available date without any cancellation fee.

The rescheduled date cannot be changed again. Furthermore, cancellations made after rescheduling are strictly non-refundable regardless of the remaining time, so please choose with care.

Starting 6 days prior to the session date, rescheduling is not permitted to ensure smooth studio operations, and cancellation penalties will apply according to the policy below.

80% refund

(20% cancellation penalty deducted)

*7 ~ 4 days prior to session date :

*3 ~ 1 day prior to session date :

*Important Notes

Cancellation and refund requests are officially recognized based on the timestamp when the message is received via the Karv Studio KakaoTalk Channel.

In the event of an unexcused no-show or late arrival of 15 minutes or more resulting in an inability to shoot or a shortened session, refunds and session extensions are not available.

In the event of legally recognized force majeure (such as natural disasters), rescheduling or refunds may be coordinated through consultation with the studio upon verification of supporting documents, with final decisions governed by studio policy.

For all cancellations due to personal circumstances other than force majeure (change of mind, personal scheduling conflicts, skin conditions, health issues, etc.), the above refund policy applies strictly without exception.
